WASHINGTON D.C. – Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius appeared before Congress in a hearing on Wednesday, Oct. 30.

During the hearing, Missouri’s fourth district Congressman Billy Long asked Sebelius if she would give up her government-run health insurance and enter into the exchanges that that other American’s are going through for coverage.

Long felt Sebelius was not giving him a “yes or no” answer.

“That’s not the answer,” says Long. “That’s not a yes or no. You are the architect of this whole program and you won’t go into it with the rest of the American public.”

“I did not say that sir,” says Sebelius. “I think it’s illegal for me.”

“If it is not illegal,” says Long. “If it is legal, will you go in? Come on in, the water is fine.”

Sebelius says computer specialists are working 24-7 to get Healthcare.gov working properly.
