Race Raises Funds for Good Samaritan Boys Ranch

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- The unseasonably warn weather Saturday made it a nice time for a run, for a good cause. The 14th annual marathon to raise funds for the Good Samaritan Boys Ranch happened Saturday morning in Springfield.
SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- The unseasonably warn weather Saturday made it a nice time for a run, for a good cause. The 14th annual marathon to raise funds for the Good Samaritan Boys Ranch happened Saturday morning in Springfield. 

About 350 runners showed up for the half and full marathon races.The race is organized by the Ozark Mountain Ridge Runners.

Chris Revoir, the race director, said they raise money through the event to donate to the Good Samaritan Boys Ranch, “We also donate money to Girls on the Run and the Boy Scouts”, Revoir added.

The Good Samaritan Boys Ranch has been helping at risk youth for more than 50 years.
