Police Seeking Information on Armed Robberies

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- Police are asking for assistance in identifying a suspect from two recent robberies at the Casey's General Store on 949 S. Grant.
SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- Police are asking for assistance in identifying a suspect from two recent robberies at the Casey's General Store on 949 S. Grant on Saturday, Nov. 9, and Sunday, Nov. 10.

According to Crime Stoppers, in both robberies, a suspect entered the store in the early morning hours, displayed a handgun and demanded money from an employee.

The suspect is described as a white male between 5'6" and 5'10" tall with a medium build.  The suspect was wearing a hooded sweatshirt with the hood up and a cloth over his face.

An investigation into the robberies is ongoing.

Anyone with any information on the robberies or the suspect is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 417-869-8477, submit a tip online, or text "417SPD" plus a message to 274637.
