Police Ask for Help Finding Coins Stolen in Burglary

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- Police detectives in Springfield hope someone will recognize coins stolen during a recent home burglary and can help solve the crime.
SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- Police detectives in Springfield hope someone will recognize coins stolen during a recent home burglary and can help solve the crime.

Police Thursday asked for help in finding rolls of coins of different denominations, taken from a house on S. Meadowview over the Thanksgiving holiday.   CRIME STOPPERS released the photo above of the coins and asked for anyone who knows anything about them or were in the area of the burglary to call with information.

CRIME STOPPERS and the Springfield Police Department are asking for assistance in recovering numerous rolls of coins of various denominations stolen in Springfield. Springfield Police are investigating a residential burglary which occurred in the 1900 block S Meadowview late November/early December 2013. The photos shown resemble how the coins were packaged. If you have any information about this crime, please let us know. This investigation is still on-going at this time.
