OZARK, Mo. -- A man from Ozark admits to having child pornography after an Internet sting by a cyber crimes task force.

Scott Andrew Johnson, now 23, pleaded guilty in Christian County Court earlier this month to Possession of Child Pornography.

In November 2011, Johnson turned himself in to police. He first came under investigation the previous March by Nixa police and the Tri-Lakes Internet Crimes Task Force.

Johnson's computer was confiscated during a search warrant at his house. According to investigators, forensic computer examiners found images of child sexual abuse involving young children.

Johnson received a suspended imposition of sentence on a 5-year sentence. He will spend the next 5 years on supervised probation and will have to successfully complete the Missouri Sex Offender Program (MOSOP) and register as a sex offender.
