(Kansas City, MO) -- White House officials will be
City next week as part of a new focus by the Obama administration on urban
The administration has scheduled a Kansas City summit, which will take place at
the Kauffman Foundation on Tuesday, to address new ways to connect local urban
business leaders with local and national resources, as well as to networks to
enhance their efforts.
Officials from the Small Business
Administration, White House Business Council and U.S. Department of Treasury
are expected to be in attendance, along with Kansas City Mayor Sly James.

additional events in Chicago, Columbus, and Detroit later this year.
