Bentonville has also released the dates of its snow make-up days. They are as follows:

Thursday, December 5 will be made up on Monday, January 20 (Martin Luther King Day).
Friday, December 6 will be made up Monday, February 17 (Presidents' Day).
Monday, December 9 will be made up Friday, May 30.
Tuesday, December 10 will be made up Monday, June 2.
A fifth snow day would be made up on Tuesday, June 3, and so forth.

According to Rick Schaeffer with Springdale Public Schools, the district allotted for five snow days this school year, which have all been used up.

"If we have another cancellation before a teacher-in-service day, we would use that day," he says. "A teacher in-service day is a day that only teachers are in and kids are not. It's for professional development, but we would bring kids in that day."

Schaeffer says beyond that, Springdale schools would hold classes on Saturday in March.

"If we need to go beyond that, the first two days of Spring Break will be school days," he says.

He adds that if Springdale must use more than five additional snow days before the end of the school year, days will be added to the end of the school year calendar in June.
