Nixa's Dulin Signs With Naval Academy

Nixa guard Bryce Dulin signed a letter of intent to play hoops at Navy.
NIXA, Mo--High School athletes continue to sign with colleges in the early signing period.

At Nixa, basketball senior Bryce Dulin signed on the dotted line.

For Dulin it's more than just a commitment to play basketball.

It's also a commitment for military service.

Dulin signed with the Naval academy and will have to serve in the Navy after his basketball career is over.

The guard averaged 11 points and nearly four rebounds a game last season for the Eagles.

"I just felt like that's where I needed to be," said Bryce Dulin.  "I wanted to play D1 basketball, it's always been my dream.  And I felt that the Naval Academy would help my career, growing as a basketball player and a person.  That's part of the decision obviously, five years after I graduate.  That's a huge step in my life and my career and I'm really looking forward to that.."
