MADISON COUNTY, Ark. -- The husband and wife killed in an October, 21st plane crash are also business owners and parents, according to affiliate station KNWA.

Adina and Ivan Williams III owned Williams Construction out of Pryor, Oklahoma

According to a company spokesperson,
Williams Construction worked on projects like the BOK Center in Tulsa and recently helped with a landfill modification at The Flint Creek Power Plant in Gentry.

The couple had a combined family of four children, including two sons who attended the University Of Arkansas. Ivan Williams III graduated from the U of A  back in 1973.  According to a distant relative the couple had been visiting family and was returning from that trip when the crash happened.

A family friend sent us these thoughts after hearing the news:

"One hundred and twenty-seven "old" seniors from the Pryor High School Class of 1968 are in shock and mourning today with the untimely passing of, as one writer put it, "a HUB of our class"!  Two and a-half weeks ago  Ivan Bunger Williams III, presided over our 45th reunion which he had centrally orchestrated, as he had most of our reunions.  We were best friends since Junior High. He played left end & I right end on the football team. We fished, we hunted, we joked, we partied, we studied, we grew up and we moved apart--but the bond never weakened. We were all blessed to enjoy breakfast with "the old gang" just a couple of weeks ago ,to share those well worn and treasured stories, and to catch up on all the new adventures, grandchildren and plans. He shared then about a new plane they had gotten. Our thoughts and prayers are united for all the family."
