Our next system will bring a quick round of showers before the cold front passes. Once it does, it will change everything over to snow. It looks like this system will also be able to bring in some Gulf moisture beforehand. This means that initially we will see a low snow to rain ratio. This will enable the snow to start off rather wet but that won't last long once the arctic air catches up with it.

That will increase the snow/rain ratio and create a fluffier snowfall. Snow totals will range from a dusting to half a foot. Eastern Greene County could see 4"+, western parts could see 2-4".

The highest totals look to be Dent, Phelps, Pulaski and Texas Counties. The snow will start Saturday afternoon/evening and will be most intense Sunday night. The snow will taper off west to east Sunday morning.
