Missouri State Hoops Holds On

Bears basketball wins a close one against Tulsa.
SPRINGFIELD, Mo--Double the action in Missouri State athletics Saturday. The men's basketball team hosted Tulsa at JQH arena. The last time these two teams met was December of last year, when Tulsa handed Missouri State a 61-42 loss. 

First half action, a little give and go for three points by Marcus Marshall.  11-9 Bears led.

Tulsa's Rashad Smith with a turn around jumper and got the bounce. 21-19 Tulsa up.

Later MSU with the ball nice drive led to an even better tip in by Tyler Mccullough. Bears trailed by 3.

Tulsa's Smith driving to the hoop can't get it to go but Marquel Curtis did. 40-35 Hurricane.

Before the half Nathan Scheer got the rock and he hit the triple. Cut the Tulsa lead to 43-38.

The Bears go on to win 96-93.
