UPDATE: Missing Warsaw Teen Found Safe

BENTON COUNTY, Mo. – The Benton County Sheriff’s Department has cancelled an endangered person advisory for a 13-year-old girl from Warsaw, who went missing at 11:30 a.m. on Dec. 26.

BENTON COUNTY, Mo. -- The Benton County Sheriff's Department has cancelled an endangered person advisory for 13-year-old Cheyenne Masterson, who was reported missing the morning of Dec. 26.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says Cheyenne has been located and is safe.

, Mo. – The Benton County Sheriff’s Department has issued an endangered person advisory for a 13-year-old girl from Warsaw, who was reported missing the morning of  Dec. 26.

According to a news statement, Cheyenne Masterson, 13, of Warsaw, went to bed at 10:30 p.m. on Dec. 25.  When her grandmother went in to wake her at 10:30 the next day, the bed was made and not slept in.  Cheyenne could not be found at the residence.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says Cheyenne has run away in the past in the Independence area.  She could be en route to Independence again, travelling along Hwy 7.

She has on black sneakers, a purple Aeropostale-brand hoodie and is possibly carrying a pink back pack with black stripes and a zebra-print purse.

The Patrol warns Cheyenne may be depressed and suicidal and has harmed herself in the past.
 
Anyone who sees Cheyenne or who has information related to her should immediately call 911 or call the Benton County Sheriff’s Department at 660-438-6135.
