Here is an update on flooded roads throughout the state as of 4 p.m. on Aug. 9:
- All lanes of Interstate 44 across the state are open.
- All lanes of Route 63 throughout the state are open.
- Route 50 remains closed at Mt. Sterling. The detour for westbound travelers on Route 50 is Route 28 to Route 63 to Route 50. Motorists headed eastbound on 50 should take Route 63 and exit onto Route 28 and then return to Route 50.
- Thirty-two numbered and lettered routes throughout the state are closed due to flooding – about two-thirds of those are in central and southern Missouri.
Mid-Missouri Road Closings
As of 4:00 p.m. the following roadways are closed:
Route TT over Crooked Creek
Route 50 over the Gasconade River at Mount Sterling
Route F between Route J and the end of state maintenance
Route K between Route 50 and the end of state maintenance
Route BB at River Road
Route BB over Dry Auglaize Creek
Route 42 between Route 28 and Route Z
Route K over Little Tavern Creek
Route 89 between Route 50 to Route E - One lane is open. Traffic is being flagged through the area by law enforcement.
Route D at Cooper Hill
Route E between Route 89 and Route U
Route N between Route 50 and County Road 201
Route T over the Maries River
Route RA between Route CC and the end of state maintenance
Route J north of Route M
Route AA between County Road 7550 and the end of state maintenance
Route H between Springfield Road and the end of state maintenance –DOWN TO ONE LANE
