BRANSON, Mo. -- Dock owners on Lake Taneycomo need to pay attention to the water level today.

The Army Corps of Engineers will be releasing water from the lake to repair the Table Rock Powerhouse.

The water level has been slowly lowered since October 28, from an elevation of 701 feet to 696.5, the Corps says.

Today, Powersite Dam will release more water through the spillway to lower and maintain Lake Taneycomo at elevation 696.5.

Once the repairs are finished the lake will return to its normal level.
