Jazz Takes Over Downtown Springfield Tonight

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- If you're in downtown Springfield tonight for First Friday events, you'll hear music in the air.

The 4th annual Jazz Festival starts at 6 p.m.

There will be two stages...One on the Square and one on Park Central East.

Performances will go on until 10.  The festival is free to the public.

Friday, Oct. 4
Park Central East Stage

The Linda Sala Project 6-7p.m.

The Brandon Mezzelo Triplet 7-8 p.m.
 
The Richard Bruton Quintet  8-9 p.m.

Park Central Square Stage
Missouri State University Jazz Studies Ensemble
6:30-7:30 p.m.

Missouri State University Jazz Faculty Quintet
7:30-8:30 p.m.

Elaine Richardson, Ph.D, ("Dr. E") a scholar, performer and soul recording artist, 8:30-9 p.m.

Featured artist Brad Leali with the Missouri Jazz Orchestra (MOJO).
9 - 10 p.m.
