SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- It's been one month since the Affordable Care Act went into effect.  Much has been said about the problems with the Healthcare.gov web site.  But beyond that, many people still have a lot of questions about how the system works and how they are personally impacted.

You may have received a notice saying your health plan does not meet the minimum requirements of the Affordable Care Act and you'll have to find another under the exchange system.  One month into the process, people have a lot of questions.  Insurance agent Trevor Croley helps answer them.   Watch the video above to see our discussion with Trevor.

There is an 800 number you can call to ask questions.  Look for it on the notice of lost coverage, if you received one. 

Another option:  you might be able to choose early renewal of your current policy before the end of the year to last through 2014.

Many people may be tempted to choose the least expensive option.  But the options are complicated and insurance agents have spent a month trying to understand all the options for their clients.

You'll need to compare hospital systems, doctors, prescriptions and co-pays when making your decision
