The NFL announced Sunday Grammy-winning singer Bruno Mars will deliver the Super Bowl halftime show.
Pop singer Bruno Mars will be the next performer to grace the stage of the 2014 Pepsi Super Bowl Halftime Show.
He appeared with his band The Hooligans in Times Square on "Fox NFL Sunday" for the big announcement.
"Its an honor. We just got off tour. So being able to come to New York City," Mars said.
Mars is best known for his chart toppers "Just The Way You Are," and "Grenade."
He will join a long line of legendary Super Bowl halftime performers, including Michael Jackson, Madonna and Prince.
You can tune in to see his performance on February 2nd.

"X-Men" actor Patrick Stewart announced he married longtime girlfriend Sunny Ozell on Twitter, posting this picture.
"X-Men" costar Ian McKellen performed the official ceremony, and after the nuptials he wrote on Facebook "I did my part."
Stewart and Ozell dated four years before tying the knot.

Now for a roundup of the box office this past weekend.
In first place -- sci-fi thriller "Riddick" starring Vin Diesel.
The movie stole the top spot from "Lee Daniels' The Butler" grossing $18.7 million.
In second place, the star-studded drama,  "Lee Daniels' The Butler" .. serving up $8.9 million.
And in third - "Instructions Not Included" ringing up $7.9 million.
