Alec Baldwin just started a new job and he is suspended, Angelina Jolie wins an award for her charity work, and Thor tops the box office.
Alec Baldwin just started his new job at MSNBC and he's already been suspended.

The network put the actor-turned pundit on a two-week hiatus after he screamed anti-gay slurs at a photographer.

Baldwin has since apologized for his remarks.

Angelina Jolie was presented with an Oscar for her charity work.

She received the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award on Saturday night.

The 38-year-old actress is the youngest person to ever receive the honor.

And, at the box office this weekend, Thor was the big winner. This was its second week at number one. The movie brought in a hefty $38.5 million.

In the number two spot was the romantic comedy The Best Man Holiday. It took in $30.6 million.

And in a distant third was Last Vegas at $8.9 million dollars.
