Hey Shannon! Relationship Question for October 30, 2013

"Hey Shannon. My daughter is 7 years old and she wants to go trick or treating with some of her 11 year old neighborhood friends. She started hanging out with the older girls a couple weeks ago, and normally I don't let her hang out with them without parental supervision. I am concerned to let her go by herself, but I know if I tagged along with her she would be embarrassed. The older girl’s parents are not as strict as I am and often let their kids run around with very little supervision. Am I being too over protective or should I be concerned?"
