Hey Shannon! Relationship Question for October 28, 2013

Hey Shannon! My 8-year old son is looking forward to Halloween; the issue is that he is autistic. He gets very anxious around crowds and is overly sensitive to visual and auditory stimulation. I want to keep him home, but my husband thinks it's unfair to treat him differently than other kids. Of course, I want my son to have fun but I don't want him to be traumatized. What do you think?
