Hey Shannon! Relationship Question for August 8, 2013

"My wife and I have been trying to have a baby for 5 years, and started seeing a specialist two years ago. We have tried different fertility treatments and ultimately nothing has worked. My wife says she wants to stop trying. She has become very depressed and doesn't even want to discuss other options. I know she is hurting and so am I, but we have always wanted children. I want to look into adoption, but every time I bring it up she shuts me out. How can I get through to her?"
