Hey Shannon! Relationship Question for August 7, 2013

"My roommate wants his girlfriend to move in with us. She just lost her job and he wants to help her out while she looks for a new one. I don't want to be insensitive to her situation, but I also think it would be unfair for her to move in and not pay some of the rent and bills. I also would be uncomfortable having her there when he is not. How can I talk to my roommate about this without ruining our friendship?"
