Hey Shannon! Relationship Question for August 19, 2013

Today's question: "Every time my husband and I argue, he leaves and goes to his mom's house. Sometimes I don't see him again for a couple days. He says he needs to just cool off for a day or two, but I don't see how that solves our issues. I love him and I love my mother-in-law, but I am afraid she will turn against me if he keeps this up. How can I convince him to stay next time and keep our arguments between us?"
