Great Southern Bank Warns of Phishing Scam

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Great Southern Bank is warning the community of fraudulent phone calls.
SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Great Southern Bank is warning the community of fraudulent phone calls.

According to Brian Eaton, the Great Southern Bank communication manager, the bank was made aware of a phishing attempt being solicited by robo calls and naming the bank specifically.

The calls are in regards to the receiver’s Great Southern Bank MasterCard being locked and prompt the receiver to enter their 16-digit card number to reactivate the card.

Great Southern Bank did not initiate the calls and advises receivers to hang up immediately and do not provide any personal information.

If you do provide information, you are asked to call Great Southern Bank immediately.
