Former Razorback Enjoys First Day At Chiefs Camp

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. -- Former Arkansas RB Knile Davis talks about his first day at Chiefs camp.
ST. JOSEPH, Mo.  -- Chiefs training camp officially begins on Thursday, and finally the franchise and its fans can officially put last season in the past.

Plenty of optimism centered around this year's camp in St. Joseph, as new coach Andy Reid, and new quarterback Alex Smith reported today along with dozens of rookies, including former Arkansas Razorback Knile Davis, who should get some work in at running back this year behind Jamaal Charles.

Davis was drafted in the third round by the Chiefs.

"I think it's great practice," said Davis. "Being out here with the other rookies.  Just getting our minds right because it's going to be a long season.  A lot of things will hit us from different directions that we're not used to.  We're ready to take this on."
