Former Missouri House Speaker Announces Candidacy for Greene County Clerk

SPRINGFIELD, Mo.--Former Missouri House Speaker Pro Tem Shane Schoeller, R-Willard, announced Jan. 10 his candidacy for Greene County Clerk. This announcement was made following the recent retirement of County Clerk Richard Struckhoff.
SPRINGFIELD, Mo.--Former Missouri House Speaker Pro Tem Shane Schoeller, R-Willard, announced Jan. 10 his candidacy for Greene County Clerk. This announcement was made following the recent retirement of County Clerk Richard Struckhoff.

“I am running for Greene County Clerk because I believe in ensuring free and fair elections, and protecting our votes from fraud,” Schoeller said.  “As County Clerk, I will continue my efforts to pass a common sense photo voter identification law to ensure our votes are protected.”

Schoeller has received support and endorsements from numerous Greene County office holders and members of the Missouri General Assembly.  

Schoeller, has served in the Missouri House of Representatives from 2007 to 2013 and was the Republican nominee for Missouri Secretary of State in 2012. Schoeller is currently the Executive Director of the Missouri Republican Party.
