CROCKER, Mo. -- A former coach at a school in Pulaski County is charged with having sexual contact with a student.

Kevin S. Zimmerman, 37, of Crocker, Missouri, is charged with three counts, all involving one victim.

Crocker Police Chief Chris Twitchel says the investigation is still underway, but currently there is only the one suspected victim.

Twitchel says Zimmerman was "removed from the school" when the allegations came to light.

Prosecutors charged Zimmerman Tuesday, although the investigation had been going on for some time.

Twitchel said investigators found evidence the contact with the student had been going on during 2012 and 2013.

Zimmerman is charged with 3 counts of Sexual Contact with a Student by a Teacher, a class D felony.

He was booked into the Pulaski County jail and is free on $100,000 bond.
