ROGERSVILLE, Mo. -- A mobile home caught fire in Rogersville last night, gutting the home.

It happened around 9:15 at a mobile home park on Peck Hollow Road.

Fire crews say there was heavy fire in the center of the home when they arrived.
Everyone who was in the home made it out.

Travis Trent, deputy chief of the Logan-Rogersville Fire District, urges everyone to do all they can to prevent home fire this time of year.
"This is the season increase of fire in residents.  We just want people to be cautious.  Make sure their smoke alarms in good working condition, watch for cords, overloading electrical circuits.  As the holiday season comes around, plugging in the Christmas tree and other decorations around the house.  Pay attention to frayed extension cords.  We do see an increase in fires in November and December."

Trent says fire crews are still investigating the cause of this fire.
