Facebook Page Founded to Help Catch Brian Adkison

CALDWELL COUNTY, Mo. -- Facebookers have gathered on the social media site to set up a reward for those who help catch escaped inmate Brian Adkison, who was being held on charges of rape and kidnapping.

CALDWELL COUNTY, Mo. -- Facebookers have gathered to help raise an award and awareness for rape and kidnapping suspect Brian Adkison, who is still on the loose after escaping from Caldwell County Jail on August 11.

The Facebook page dedicated to catching Adkison was created on August 26 and now has over 1,500 members.

According to a report from KRCG, the page's creators have started their own reward fund for those who can help catch Adkison.  Their original goal was to raise over $1,000 and on Friday the page announced that the goal was surpassed. The post reports that the reward fund is over $1,500 and on the rise.

When this page was first created, the founders were asked what they would do with the money if Adkison was caught without the help of a tip or concerned citizen.  According to a post on the page, the money will go to Green Hills Women's Shelter, a local non-profit organization providing assistance for women in domestic violence and sexual assault situation.

Brian Adkison is considered armed and dangerous.  Authorities warn if you see him, do not approach him.  Find a phone and call the police as soon as possible.
