SPRINGFIELD, Mo--A number of former Missouri Tigers will be swinging through the Ozarks in the next few weeks.
And Monday Tiger basketball product Kim English tipped off his first ever youth basketball camp in Springfield.
English is holding his camp Monday and Tuesday at the Fieldhouse in Southwest Springfield.
Kim English played for Mizzou from 2008 through 2012.
He averaged 14 and a half points per game his senior season.
The Detroit Pistons picked him in the second round of the 2012 draft.
English says he loves giving back to the kids.
"This is a passion of mine," said Kim English. "I love to work with kids. I love to teach the game, and hopefully inspire the youth, so this is something I definitely plan to do every summer. Just to try to inspire, especially the youth in the state of Missouri, the state that's given me so much. Hopefully if I can inspire these kids just a little bit it'd definitely mean the world to me. I'm excited to be here in Springfield. Kids can come tomorrow, Tuesday the 2nd to pay half price and still be in camp."
