Drury Falls To #7 In D2 Poll

Drury falls from #3 to #7 after loss at Bellarmine.
SPRINGFIELD, Mo--The Drury Panthers will return home Thursday night when coach Steve Hesser welcomes Rockhurst to the O'Reilly Family Event Center.

And the Panthers will have a new national ranking.

Drury fell from number three in the nation to number seven following Thursday night's loss at Bellarmine in Louisville.

The Knights beat the Panthers 85-77 and snapped Drury's 34 game winning streak that dated back to last year's national championship.

The Panthers bounced back to beat Southern Indiana over the weekend.

West Liberty remains the number one team in the country in the new top ten.

Bellarmine is two followed by Florida Southern, Metro State and Indiana out of Pennsylvania.

Tartleton State is sixth, then comes Drury, East Stroudsburg, Cal-State San Bernardino and Southern Indiana round out the D2 top ten.
