MARSHFIELD, Mo. -- A man from Rogersville, Missouri is charged with Involuntary Manslaughter and Vehicular Assault, for a crash last Friday that killed a man.

The Webster County Prosecuting Attorney charges Chad Bybee, 32, after the crash on Highway 60 just east of Route VV.  The crash happened about 7:00 pm Friday when Bybee's pickup truck was going west in the eastbound lane of Highway 60 and hit a Chevy Impala headon.

The driver of the car, William H. Hughes, 84, of Seymour, was killed.  In Bybee's truck, two young girls, ages 6 and 8, were injured. Both are daughters of Bybee.   The vehicular assault charge is for the injuries to the oldest girl, who was most seriously injured.

According to court documents, troopers performed field sobriety tests on Bybee at the scene before taking him into custody.  A breathalyzer test taken more than three hours after the crash showed a blood-alchol level of .190, according to the trooper's report.  (attached above this story)

Bybee is due to appear in court Monday afternoon for arraignment.  Prosecutors are asking for a $100,000 bond.
