Delay Expected for Roark Valley Rd. in Branson

BRANSON, Mo. – Roark Valley Rd. may be delayed next week due to the replacement of large transmission poles between Truman Dr. and Forsythe St.

According to a press release, the Branson Public Works Department has been notified by Empire District Electric Company of the work, which will begin on Sept. 30.

The work will be adjacent to Roark Valley Rd. and traffic may be delayed. Flagmen will be present to direct traffic; however, motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes, such as Hwy 248 to the north or Hwy 76 to the south.

With weather permitting, the scheduled work is anticipated to take between two to five days.
