SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – After setting aside $50 from every vehicle sold during February, Youngblood Auto Group presented a check on Tuesday for $11,100 to benefit the Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Ozarks.

The Ronald McDonald House Charities is an organization devoted to finding and supporting the health and well-being of children in the Ozarks. Their first priority is to provide a "home away from home" to parents and families of seriously ill or injured children who are being treated in hospitals far from home.

"Since the opening of our new Ronald McDonald House 16 months ago, we are now helping twice the number of families of seriously ill and injured children," says Bonnie Keller, President and CEO of Ronald McDonald House Charities.

Since opening its doors in 1988, more than 8,200 families have called the Ronald McDonald House home during periods of hardship.

“We can't thank Youngblood Auto Group enough for generously supporting our children and families and helping to make our two Ronald McDonald Houses possible,” says Keller. “Youngblood's contributions will be instrumental in providing the resources needed in 2014."
