Saturday, June 7 Overnight Forecast

We're seeing a brief break from the storms, but the start of our workweek is looking extra soggy!
Storms pushed through early this morning, dropping a lot of rain and delivering some gusty winds and lightning.  Since then, our skies have cleared up!  Conditions remain clear overnight tonight.

Storms are possible Sunday, with the higher chances south (in extreme southern Missouri and northern Arkansas).  Sunday's storm chances are low for Springfield and points north.

A surface and upper level low approach our area overnight Sunday into Monday morning, causing storms to overspread the area by Monday morning.  This low pressure system impacts the area through Tuesday, keeping storm chances and flooding concerns high.  The flash flood watch continues through Monday evening.

Storm chances go down Wednesday, and we'll see a few extra peaks of sunshine.  Except for a slight chance of storms on Thursday, the second half of our workweek is looking much drier.

Expect warm and muggy temperatures through this week, with highs in the mid 70s to low 80s, and lows in the 60s.  The "coolest" days will be Monday and Tuesday, with lows in the low 60s and highs in the mid 70s.
