Sunday, August 3 Overnight Forecast

A seasonable, summer-like set-up is unfolding, and a stormier set-up returns soon.
It was a seasonable and summer-like day today.  There's more of that coming up.  The low level jet kicks in tonight meaning a storm is possible overnight, with slightly higher chances in western Missouri.  Our low temperature makes it down to 65 degrees.

We'll see a mix of sun and clouds accompanied by slight chances for storms now through Wednesday.  An upper level ridge to our west will be close enough to keep storm chances on the lower end, and to turn up the heat a bit.  Highs will be a few degrees warmer, in the low 90s on Tuesday and Wednesday.

The summer humidity is back in the air by the middle of this week!  Plus, storm chances will be greatest during the second half of this upcoming workweek.  The highest chance of storms this week is on Thursday.  More clouds build into the picture as well, holding high temperatures down into the mid 80s.  Overnight lows will slowly creep up through the week.  We're starting our mornings off in the mid 60s now, but we'll start near 70 degrees by the end of this upcoming week.
