UPDATE: Bank Robbery Surveillance Photos Released

SPRINGFIELD, Mo.-- The FBI has released surveillance photos of Wednesday's bank robbery in Springfield. The photos show the suspect and the pickup truck he was driving.
SPRINGFIELD, Mo.-- The FBI has released surveillance photos of Wednesday's bank robbery in Springfield.

The photos show the suspect and the pickup truck he was driving.

The FBI describes the truck as a gray or tan full size extended cab GMC or Chevrolet, with chrome bed rails and several stickers on the rear window.

The robbery occurred at the Bank of America on West Kearney shortly before 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday.

A Springfield police lieutenant said the suspect told bank employees he wanted to open account.  The man then told the manager he had a bomb in a bag he was carrying. 

He was taken to the safe where he removed money.  

The suspect was described as white, in his 40s, 6'1" with a medium build, with a white gauze bandage over his chin from ear to ear, a blue Cardinals shirt, jeans, sunglasses and cap.

The FBI said the suspect should be considered armed and dangerous.
