Tigers Search for a New Basketball Coach

COLUMBIA, Mo--For the 4th time since 1999, the Mizzou basketball team is looking for a new coach.
COLUMBIA , Mo--With Frank Haith leaving Missouri to coach at Tulsa, the search is on for a new Tigers basketball coach.

Alden is looking for a new basketball coach for the fourth time since 1999. He told reporters today that he's disappointed because Alden said he enjoyed working with Haith and was hoping to work with him for a long time.
Haith will have to pay Missouri $500,000 to leave.
Alden says he's not going to rush finding a new basketball coach.

"We don't know how long that will take.  And we don't want to limit us to a time frame on that.  We're going to take our time throughout that search process.  I'll be the person working on that search process.  There will be some other folks that I visit with, talk with and resource with that are really involved in the basketball community," said Mizzou Athletics Director Mike Alden.
