Three in Custody After Burglary Investigation

STRAFFORD, Mo. -- Three people are in custody after Greene County deputies responded to a reported burglary in progress at a home in the 2100 block of N. Farm Rd. 203.
STRAFFORD, Mo. -- Three people are in custody after Greene County deputies responded to a reported burglary in progress at a home in the 2100 block of N. Farm Rd. 203.

According to the Greene County Sheriff's Office, when deputies arrived to the scene, witnesses gave them information about the burglary suspects, their vehicles and direction of travel.

Deputies responded to the nearby location of a home less than a few blocks away to make contact with the suspects.

Two adults were immediately detained and arrested on unrelated outstanding warrants.

A third male suspect barricaded himself in the home, however.  According to deputies he was eventually taken into custody.

The incident is currently under investigation by the Greene County Sheriff's Office.
