Tennessee Man Indicted in Lawrence Co. for Enticing Minor

LAWRENCE COUNTY, Mo. – A Tennessee man was indicted by a federal grand jury Wednesday for enticing a minor to engage in illicit sexual activity.
LAWRENCE COUNTY, Mo. – A Tennessee man was indicted by a federal grand jury Wednesday for enticing a minor to engage in illicit sexual activity.

Dylan Wade Garcia, 28, of Huntingdon, Tenn. was charged in a three-count indictment with enticing a minor to engage in illicit sexual activity, crossing state lines for the purpose of engaging in illicit sexual activity and possessing child pornography.

According to Tammy Dickinson, United States Attorney for the Western District of Missouri, the indictment alleges Garcia used the Internet and a cell phone June 9-26 to entice the victim.

The case was investigated by the Aurora-Marionville Police Department and the Southwest Missouri Cyber Crimes Task Force.
