Teens Busted for Wright County Thefts

HARTVILLE, MO. - Four teens from Ava and two from Mansfield have been arrested and charged in connection with the thefts of guns, electronics and other items from Wright County homes or businesses.
HARTVILLE, MO. - Four teens from Ava and two from Mansfield have been arrested and charged in connection with the thefts of guns, electronics and other items from Wright County homes or businesses.

The Douglas County Sheriff's Office arrested Clayton Young, 19, of Ava and charged him with felony receiving stolen property. He remains in the Douglas County Jail in lieu of $15,000 bond.  Three other men from Ava, all 17 years of age, were arrested and issued citations for misdemeanor receiving stolen property.

In Wright County, Adam Whited, 19, and Jerry T. Whited, 17, both of Mansfield, were arrested and charged with one count each of burglary and theft/stealing.

Several firearms and electronic have not been recovered, according to the sheriffs of both counties, and they are asking for the public’s help.
