Store Donates Time and Product to Help Individuals with Disablities

SPRINGFIELD, Mo.-- One local store is partnering with Champion Athletes of the Ozarks to make repairs and raise awareness.
SPRINGFIELD, Mo.-- One local store is partnering with Champion Athletes of the Ozarks to make repairs and raise awareness.

Volunteers from six Springfield-area Sherwin-Williams stores are partnering with Champion Athletes, a non-profit organization that serves children and adults with disabilities within the community to repaint administrative offices and athlete classrooms.

Painting will take place Saturday, April 5 at 10:30 am at Champion Athletes headquarters.

As part of National Painting Week, Sherwin-Williams employees are volunteering time and donating product to give back to their community.

Champion Athletes of the Ozarks serves children and adults with disabilities living in the Ozarks area. Through sports training and competition the organization helps to build self-esteem, self-confidence and social skills.

National Painting Week is held the week of April 7 and is an opportunity for thousands of organizations nationwide to donate products to upgrade non-profits, churches, schools and other deserving community organizations.
