Springfield's Tolliver Signs With NBA's Suns

Springfield NBA veteran Anthony Tolliver signs a two year deal with Phoenix.
SPRINGFIELD, Mo--NBA veteran Anthony Tolliver is back in his hometown of Springfield for his annual Big Dream Weekend with Steve Warren.

The two Kickapoo products host a football and basketball camp Friday and Saturday.

Warren's football camp is Friday at 9 a.m. at Central's Harrison stadium.

Tolliver's Saturday's hoops camp is at Drury's O'Reilly Center at 9:00 a.m.

And Wednesday night he played in the Pro-Am League at the Courts.

Tolliver just signed a two-year, $6 million dollar contract with the Phoenix Suns.

The 29-year old will be playing his seventh season in the NBA.

"It's great.  Great for my family and great for myself to be able to go in there and not have to worry about stability," said Tolliver.  "It's nice to have a couple of years.  I want to play has hard as I can and hopefully continue to make a name for myself.  It's crazy how time has flown by.  I'm just real excited about the opportunity and hoping to parlay this two year contract into another two or three years."
