Southwest Baptist University Sees Increase in Students

BOLIVAR, Mo. – Southwest Baptist University says they saw an increase in new students, average ACT score and number of students living on-campus this year.
BOLIVAR, Mo. – Southwest Baptist University says they saw an increase in new students, average ACT score and number of students living on-campus this year.

According to the university, the total enrollment on the first day of classes was 1,507, including 403 freshman students.

The freshman class’s average ACT score was 23.6, an increase from last year and almost a one-point increase from two years ago.

SBU says students living in on-campus housing increased by 30.
