Southern Indiana Knocks Drury Out Of GLVC

Southern Indiana got out to a quick start and beat Drury in the GLVC tourney 75-57.
EVANSVILLE, Ind.--It was deja vu in Evansville Saturday night between the Drury Panthers and Southern Indiana.

These two met for the GLVC tournament championship last year.

This season the matchup was in the semifinals.

Drury is ranked fourth in the country, the Screaming Eagles ranked 20th.

And Southern Indiana hot early, Gavin Schumann with the three, it's a 5-nothing Eagles lead.

Drury finding it hard to score early, Cameron Adams to the block, pulls up and hits the jumper but it was 12-4 Southern Indiana.

Eric Nelson a load all night for the Panthers, he gets the hoop here, the Eagles up 22-16.

Cam Adams doing his best, strong to the baseline, the reverse layup, the cuts the lead to six.

But Southern Indiana was strong in the second half, here Eric Nelson with the slam dunk, and the Eagles knock Drury out of the tournament 75-57.
