Rolla Police Ask For Help Identifying Suspect Who Impersonated Officer

ROLLA, Mo. – The Rolla Police Department is asking for help identifying a suspect wanted for impersonating a police officer.
ROLLA, Mo. – The Rolla Police Department is asking for help identifying a suspect wanted for impersonating a police officer.

According to a statement from police, on March 21 at 4:40 p.m., the Rolla Police Department responded to a residence in the 600 block of Woodland Drive in reference to a report of someone impersonating a police officer.

Police say the female victim returned home to find an unidentified white man in the back of her residence. When the victim made contact with the man, he told her he was a Rolla Police Officer and demanded access into her residence.

When the victim questioned the suspect and asked to see his credentials, the man fled the scene in a gray colored, newer model SUV.

The suspect was described as a white male in his early to mid 20s, with dark hair and a dark colored jacket.

An eyewitness was able to photograph the suspect during the incident.
