Rogersville's Palen Shares State Title

Rogersville senior Alec Palen tied for first in the Class 3 state golf championships at Fremont Hills.
NIXA, Mo--The Missouri State high school golf championships wrapped up Tuesday around the Ozarks.

In Class 3, Rogersville's Alec Palen, here in the visor, led all golfers with a 69 after day one.

Tuesday he struggled, but the Wildcat senior who's signed to play golf at Mizzou shot a 76 which was good enough to tie for first place in the individual competition.

Rogersville tied for second as a team three strokes behind Pembroke Hill.

In class 2, Catholic finished sixth.

In class 1, Thayer was fourth and in class 4 Glendale finished seventh.
