Rams Grab Two In First Round

The St. Louis Rams had two picks in the first round of the NFL draft.
ST. LOUIS, Mo--The St. Louis Rams had two picks in the first round.

That's because they traded last year's pick to the Redskins so they could get RG3.

St. louis had the second and the 14th overall picks in Thursday's first round.

With the Rams first pick, they grabbed Auburn's offensive tackle Greg Robinson.

And then about an hour later drafted Pitt's defensive tackle Aaron Donald.

Robinson stands 6-foot-5 and weighs 332 pounds and was a third team All-American at Auburn.

"We'll plug him in where we feel he'll have the best chance to be successful right now," said Rams coach Jeff Fisher.  "I don't know exactly where that is.  He may start inside before we move him back outside.  You talk about an athlete, powerful and quick.  Great quickness and strength and a chance to be a dominate player inside."
