SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- Springfield Superintendent John Jungmann today holds the first of 4 community meetings to get input about the direction of the Springfield public school system.
SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- We're past the first few days of the new school term and Springfield's new superintendent is settling in on the job.  Now, John Jungmann is ready to talk with the public.

Today, Jungmann holds the first of 4 community meetings to get input about the direction of the Springfield public school system. 

Community members are invited to participate in four public meetings.  Here's the schedule:

Thursday, Aug. 28, 6 p.m., Cherokee Middle School cafeteria, 420 E. Farm Road 182
Tuesday, Sept. 9, 6 p.m., Kraft Administrative Center, 1359 E. St. Louis St.
Wednesday, Sept. 17, 3 p.m., Brentwood Library, 2214 Brentwood Blvd.
Friday, Sept. 19, 8:30 a.m., The Library Station, 2535 N. Kansas Expressway
