WENTZVILLE, Mo. -- People around the state have seen slick roads and even some power outages over the weekend due to freezing rain.
Power is now back on for people in the St. Louis area who lost it during freezing rain Saturday.
Those in nearby Wentzville woke up Saturday morning to ice on the trees which caused widespread power outages later on in the day.
More than a thousand people in Wentzville experienced a loss of power at one point in the day.
Numbers were even higher throughout St. Louis County, where more than 4,500 people reported outages.
Power has since been restored to most people in the area.
